Open House Petition
The purpose of this petition is to facilitate Home Sales in the area with the use of All tools we have in front of us including "Open Houses".
There is an ordinance in place at this time that does Not allow the use of directional signs to be placed on public property.
By signing this petition, you agree that this issue should be placed on the agenda at the next commission meeting as an action item and that the ordinance should be changed.
By signing this petition,I agree that it would be helpful and not harmful in bringing potential buyers to our neighbor friendly community that we call Home.
It is not my intention to create a multitude of signs but, a simple directional sign would be helpful. No more than 4 signs per Open House could be used and they would only be permitted 1 hour before a start time and 1 hour after with a maximum time of 5 hours. A sign should have the company name, agent full name and a phone number on each sign to be used.
I have had Several Successful Open Houses in my 23 years and no matter how much advertising I put out there, the buyer seems to come from a simple directional sign.
If you were a buyer that was looking into a few cities and you knew that there was 1 city for you to see up close and personal, would you drive there first? "I Would".
